Ramada Limited Huntington

The walls are very thin so if you're a deep sleeper, it would probably not bother you. The front lobby area is fine but the others door in was in a breezeway between the hotel and conference center. It reaked of stale cigarettes and the pneumatic hinge wasn't working so it slammed every time someone came in. I would skip this one for an extended stay. Staff were all nice, attentive and helpful.

We were traveling with our 2 and 3 year old daughters from South Carolina to West Virginia and arrived a few hours early. The receptionist, Brenda, was extremely rude and treated us as if we were trash immediately before I was even able to introduce myself. I tried to explain that my 3 year old has medical conditions from a horrible accident a few months ago and has to be on a feeding tube pump for 16 hours a day, I asked if we could pay extra to check in early. She was so mean about it, I literally was taken aback. Standing there with our daughters in our arms having already paid in advance for our room and offering to pay more but Brenda said we would have to pay full price for the couple hours, then check out at 11am and then come back at 3pm to check in again... that our daughters needs weren’t her problem and made us leave to get a different hotel, which we did. The Red Roof Inn Huntington right down the street took us as a walk in and let us check in at 7am. Treela was kind and professional. The room was great and it was cheaper too. We booked because the reviews said that the Ramada staff were friendly etc.. however they were not anything close and were flat out mean and rude to customers that had already paid and willing to pay more. Meanest people I ever paid money to!! Hope you have a better day Brenda! My sick daughter says thanks too!!

Bath tub would not drain while taking a shower. The tub was dirty. Non smoking room has cigarette burn holes in comforter and carpet. Switched rooms because the tub wouldn't drain while taking a shower and both rooms had the same problem. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, especially for the price. The front desk was not empathetic and made it seem normal. AGAIN, I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Nice hotel! Comfy, and clean. Walls are very thin and could hear everything happening in the room beside us, and in the hallway. They do have privacy curtains but there was a light outside our window that light it up the entire room and made it impossible to sleep. We had to take our blankets off our beds, and put over it and it still did very little to keep the light out.

We read the reviews prior to booking. MOST of the reviews were good and We knew we weren't going to be spending alot of time in the room so we just booked a non smoking room for 3 at the Ramada. We checked in around 11pm after a long day of travel and as we hit the floor from the elevator for our room the smell of smoke smacked us in our face. We got to our room and it sounded like there was elephants trampling up above us. We went to shower and there was only 1 towel. Next morning the elephants woke us up. Needless to say, it was a bad experience and we checked out the next morning. On a positive note the staff were friendly, and room was decent.
