The Georgetown location is the only one I’ve been to and it’s a great experience every time. Ppl are helpful and unlike some other box stores they have a place for you to pickup your lumber and larger items. The lumber is brought to you buy forklift and the forklift operator will not only let you pick out your wood but they’ll help you. If you know what your doing and still need help....just ask! No one has all the answers all the time.
Called at 9:39 am and spoke to a very uninformed employee. I asked simply for the linear foot prices for an lvl, lsl and 2x12. I am clearly told they can not do anything until Monday. I will be calling back Monday and speaking to the manager. Sadly they will loose business over this as I am an estimator and structural framing designer. My customer refered to them. As he wants me to value engineer his project. Now I'll just have to explain to the customer I didn't have his project done Monday morning to order lumber. Your mouthy employee cost you a builder today.
Vicky helped me tremendously. She deserves a raise. She helped me pick out the best option for me. 4 star sevice!!!
The store was clean and the people were helpful! They showed me the lumber so i could make a informed descision, and even let me pick each board to make sure they were all to my specifications. They cut each piece with care to make sure it was the proper length, and loaded me up with a smile! Even though it was raining! Thanks guys, see you again on my next project!
I love shopping here as it is smaller than Home Depot and not as crowded. Plus, there is always a friendly face at the register at the front of the store and I can always ask for something is. They always leave me right to it, saving a lot of time.
