It’s a little surprising that a community as small as Lago Vista has two hardware stores, but I can’t complain. While both are great the employees at Sun Hardware tend to be a bit older with a bit more experience, giving them an edge in terms of helpfulness. They also have always been very kind and the store has never been so busy as to make it hard to find help. They also refill propane by the pound rather than requiring you to swap out your tank which is often a fair bit cheaper.
These guys are great -- always so helpful! And the new location is much safer getting into and out of. No more hassles with the crazy highway traffic
I liked the personal treatment and if you can't find what you are looking for, they can help you.
Tom and Brenda are great! Nothing beats the charm of a family owned hardware store!
I prefer to shop local but after getting yelled at from across the store over masks, I think I'll just go to Ace from now on.
