Center City Police Department

I had a accident today in Center and totaled my car on my way home to Louisiana from my sons house in Lake Jackson. I have never had a accident in my sixty seven years and hope to never have another one. The officers that worked the accident were some of the nicest and most professional people I have ever met. They made sure I was taken care of and had a way home. Thank all of you so much

The dispatch/staff is very rude, over the phone & in person. They have a tendency to speak over you & catch attitudes in their tone.nI’ve been sitting in the lobby for over an hour waiting to visit someone & as I look into dispatch’s office, they are watching videos & looking at pictures on Facebook. I just watched a man stroll through the lobby & walked into the dispatch office with a cigar in his mouth as he’s laughing with the other dispatch lady as the rest of us are sitting here waiting to visit.... Visiting hours are from 10-11 on Tuesdays & Sunday’s ONLY. & I’m sitting in here at 10:50 still waiting to visit, & there were only two other ladies in here visiting as well. The other two ladies & I waited until 10:20 before I got up & asked the lady in the office when visiting hours were & she continued to tell me that they are short staffed on officers before the second lady in her office decided to get up & begin the process of visitation, might I add that she could’ve started that WAY before then!!!nThis place also responds to calls VERY slowly if they even decide to show up at allud83eudd37ud83cudffc‍♀ufe0f. The officers tend to be racially biased. The officers tend to favor men over women. All in all I just absolutely cannot stand Center PD. At all. If you can possibly handle a situation on your own without having CPD involved, do it because they will just cause even bigger problems!!!

This is the most disrespectful operation I have ever seen. Trying to find out if someone can be offered a phone call and after being stuck in hold repeatedly without even a word then told that they ask the lady that feeds not that feeds them or gives them their food but feeds like they're animals Also told that is the only person they see 3 times a day. Got hung up when I called her on the feeds thing. Whatever u do dont go to jail in this town.
