One of the best magnet schools, with focus on Science and Math, reading as well. the teachers are experienced and friendly. Everybody is helpful. We had no problems with administration yet...The kids in the class are polite and helping, no problems to make friends..Every day is interesting and our daughter is happy there..Ms.James is a wonderful and understanding teacher, loving her job and the kids.
Terrible school. Teachers don't care. Second grade and especially 3rd grade teachers are the worst. Third grade teacher was out almost the whole school year due to a family crisis and kids were jumping from class to class. Principal Jackson will definitely not notify parents if your child is being bullied by another student as mine was threatened by another student in which the child wanted to stab my child in the eye with a pencil. Not enough Hispanic teachers for the non bilingual classes. Wish I can go further with this. Do not send your child here. Consider a better school with better principal and magnet coordinator. If your not the right race they don't care.

I love this school! Joyful kids, teachers, and administrators!
This school year has been a joke!.This new principle has turn this school upside down. Took away all the after school programs!. The principle and assistant principles have a such a bad unprofesional attitude this year. This school is not the same anymore. The teachers do not look happy this year either.
