Story from several years ago:nMy girlfriend and I were driving back to her house at 2AM after a concert in an 04’ Honda Pilot. Neither of us had drank or anything the whole night(I was 19) I see a West U patrol car about a 1/4 mile back coming up fast behind me in my lane so I signal and move over so he can pass. He then changes lanes and pulls up behind me lighting me up when he gets close. He says I didn’t indicate my lane change. Now why would I not indicate when the only reason I’m moving is to move out of the way of a police car? I tell the officer I know I signaled, he takes my ID, runs it and sends me on my way. Complete BS stop just checking who I was. What ever happened to the 4th amendment? Left me with a severe distaste of West U police, especially since they are known for this behavior. To this day I’ve never gotten a ticket or a warning. For any of you reading, if you don’t drive a nice new car, stay out of West U after 10pm or you run the risk of being pulled over.

West U police I salute you. Officers reacted very quickly to a break in at my home. They were very courteous and caring. They are always professional and react quickly.nIt's very sad to see other ratings questioning and being judgemental of the incredibly difficult job officers have in our area. Anyone rating should take into consideration the reality; our area is (unfortunately) a crime target.nnI experienced being a target of crime and let me assure you, nothing (exept prayer) will settle your stomach like having an officer come to the aid of your family after a break in.nnLet's give credit to those serving.

If you aren't white stay away from these guys, they are incredibly racist. I've lived in west u for twenty years and I'm always seeing them Harass minorities, especially black men.

Very bad experience with them they pull you over for no reason and they are highest court fees. I have to pay in my life.
