I have lived in La Feria basically my whole life. There have been ups and downs but I must say that I truly appreciate what the police and other first responders have done for this town. In my opinion the police do not get enough credit for the hard work they do for us. The police, Emt's and the fire Dept work hard for the small town they love and protect. Thank you officers, paramedics and fire fighters for all that you do for us. I'm sorry you are not always shown the respect and gratefulness that you deserve.

Called to see if the skate park is open . Lady seamed nice . Asked if she could open it and they did . Unlike harlingen

Me and my son was going home from a long day at work in pharr tx ..and the so called captain...was in an unmarked pick up truck crusing the expressway and pulled me over after i passed him and said i was not staying in my lane i think he was profiling us cus he asked me for my drivers license and insurance which is acceptable on a routine traffic stop but then asked my son a passenger in my car for id .....that rite there was a red flag.....he was looking to see if we had warrents and or up too no good i told the so called captain why was he asking my son for he id if had done nothing wrong and in tx its not an stop an id state i told him i know the law and i know my rights i felt are constitutional rights violated by this man ...after all said and done his intentions was to do an illegal search but after i told him i know the law and my rights he stopped and just gave me a warning for not doing nothing shaking my head la feria texas becarful you have a tyrant in your town
