They are the definition of racist. Be careful dealing with them. You can be the victim in a situation and they will turn it around on you. We had people threatening us and banging on our doors. We felt very unsafe. Not only did the Gallatin police not do anything, they released personal information about us to the party we felt was harassing us. One police officer told me that he doesn’t care that I don’t feel safe, and that I should hire a body guard if that’s my concern. I thought when someone threatens me or makes me feel unsafe I was supposed to call the police? Well I guess I have to be white to call the Gallatin police for help. Moving from Gallatin for this reason. When the police make you unsafe, there’s a huge problem.
