I have never met a more caring staff and counselor! Mrs. Shawn is so amazing and she takes her time with each child and helps them recover from the most tragic event a child could have! Each person there cares about each and every child and they always make you feel safe! If I had never went there after what happened to me, I have no idea where I would be, but I know I wouldnt be in the happy place that I am now. Mrs. Shawn got me to a place where I can finally live without feeling scared like it was going to happen again and she helped me sort of things in a time matter that I felt comfortable with! She truely has helped me grow into the adult I am today, with Ashley's Place I dont think I would have made it. I recommend each and every child that is going through the same situation to go here and be counseled by her!
