Peaceful and great for kayaks and canoes

Enjoyed my time down there. There are new sights to see. Moved all the picnic table up by the parking lot. They have thoses information sign about the history of Port Royal, Tn. Also additional parking spaces close by. The Trial of Tears is like a 1/4 mile up or down from there. A creek and a river merges there. I think you can still fish from the banks. No swimming allowed.

Very pretty. In the fall they have a guided trail walk. Fishing is ok but canoeing is great. Canoe rental shop less than a mile down the road.

So happy to have this park close by. Very well maintained. Best park restrooms around!
