In December 2019, this building is being renovated. But prior to the shut down for renovation, it hosted numerous free concerts, paid concerts by visiting musical artists in the University of Tennessee at at Chattanooga's Patton Series. Inside, there is an art gallery, the Roland Hayes Concert Hall, and a theater which the UTC drama department uses to host it's productions. For non students, parking has traditionally been free after 6 pm, so members of the community can enjoy performances.
A great asset for the Chattanooga community.
Am a graduate of the Fine Arts program (Theater and Speech). Have asked to be added to mailing list numerous times. Have asked for assistance for my music related projects numerous times via personal visit and email. I get politely ignored. How incompetent! Bring back the days of David Wiley, Jim Lewis, Andrew Apter, and Susan Vick!
Does anyone know the opening hours of the Fine Arts Center?
They put on a show called Chicago and it was sold out and it was very very good for $10 ticket price
