Residence Inn by Marriott Chattanooga Near Hamilton Place

Our room was not ready even though we arrived at 6 pm. Then we waited another 45 minutes to get into our half cleaned suite. I left my number for the general manager to call me. 6 days later I'm still waiting for that call. I won't hold my breath. Thanks for nothing Marriott.

Place was very clean and the grounds were kept up. Security was on site doing patrols of the parking lot. Staff was very polite and helpful. Check in was after 3pm and we didn't get there till after 6:30pm. That being said the room wasn't ready....? When we raised a concern about that we were instantly upgraded to a 1st floor suite with 2 separate bedrooms and full kitchen. Outstanding response to issue. Room was clean and was recently disinfected .... could tell by the strong bleach smell for the first 3 hours of being in it.nThe missing star comes from the food services part of the stay. Covid has struck again and taken away my morning breakfast!!! The hotel adapted by giving out BAG BREAKFAST which was subpar but I guess it's the safest way due to the virus. They did have coffee and when asked they had no issues making more even at weird times.nI recommend the establishment and will definitely stay there again if I head back to Chattanooga.

Awesome service...nice rooms

This Marriott property was really very nice. We checked in and were met with a very nice receptionist and got us checked in very efficiently, the room was immaculately cleaned and still had that hint of bleach sterilization, bathroom was perfect (typically where one would find quite a lot of issues was great, well kept, clean, and lacking the typical rust in the corners or mold in the grout/caulk, scum behind doors, etc), and the breakfast in a bag (covid alas) was quite good with a hot sandwich (microwaved), yogurt, muffin, juice/milk/water and of course coffee. Workout room and pool were also immaculate and sterilized as expected. And the rates were great, stellar even (~$74), and the kitchen was even moderately stocked and the pullout couch was lacking in crumbs and clean inside. Best of all let friendly with no outrageous upcharge that typically doubles the cost. Very happy with this property and would definitely recommended it.

Honestly, stayed at nicer Residence Inns. Hell, stayed at Extended stays for half the price that were nicer. TVs in room have spots and one flickers. The grill is rusted out and barely functions. The pan in the room and tiny pot are unusable because the non stick coating is flaking off in chunks. Trash has been outside my door for two days.
