Closed on October 20th, 2020. Don't buy or sell with Eugene McAlister. He's looking for a quick payday, like most of them are. Please do yourself a favor and hire a real estate lawyer to go over documents with you, Eugene omitted telling me that I could back out of a home purchase if I didn't like the inspection results only that I could request repairs. The day before close on the home that I did end up choosing, there was a strong urine smell in one of the rooms, not present in present in previous walk throughs. I brought it to Eugene's attention, but again he said there was nothing I could do since it was the day before close and it was just a smell. Final walk through is to make sure there was no damage to walls or floors from sellers moving out(these are Eugene's words). Long story short, carpet had to be replaced in the entire home cost me 3500 and the carpet was filthy from pet urine, not visible to naked eye because of the carpet color, but the amount of stains on bottom of carpet where urine soaked through were plentiful in every room. This was all after I had just put 20 percent down on the home, along with furnishing the home. I'm not rich, so 3500 plus other expenses hurt....can't stress this enough, please avoid realtors and get a real estate attorney, way cheaper. You'll be picking the homes you want to view off of the internet anyway. You don't need a realtor to go look at them, Google how everything works viewing homes and you'll be able to close with less expenses. If you really want to hire a realtor though, please don't use Eugene McAlister I can't stress this enough.

Shawn is an exceptional realtor and we would only use him to buy and sell any homes in the future. If you buy a home with him, he will list your house for FREE.This allowed my husband and I to increase our buying power by saving thousands of dollars. We had never built a house before and Shawn stayed by our side through the entire process and his knowledge helped with easing our fears of the process. We not only gained a realtor but also a friend.

Very professional people when it comes to doing their jobs starting from taking the most professional photos and videos with their drone to there excellent communication skills. They will treat you like a family and will go extra miles to ensure you make a great deal through them whether you are buying or selling. I have personally worked with Shawn Hackett and and Eugene McAlister and they were awesome.
