This agency represented the seller of the home I purchased. Upon negotiation of the home price, an image of the earnest check was emailed, and an earnest check was mailed to their office. Two months after closing, the agency stated they didn't have the earnest check. Upon realizing they lost the check and closed on the home without the money in escrow, they threatened legal suit for the earnest money if not paid within days of notification, again 2 months after closing. I assume they had an internal audit and someone's paycheck or reputation was on the line. It was simply unprofessional and biligerant, considering the mistake was on their end.nnAlso to add, during home inspection, this agent changed the home listing to AS IS, after we requested a list of items to be fixed on the home. Clearly, the home should have been listed AS IS before the negotiation had begun. It was a dirty tactic to keep the seller from having to fix anything on the home, but so far along in the process that I wouldn't probably pull out of the deal. I would not recommend using their service, and if forced to deal with them from the other side of the transaction, keep a close eye on their operations.
