I love this place. Their exhibitions are very educational and innovative. They have different people curate at different times and so you really get a variety of exhibitions. Also check out their Awesome library in the back and fill your mind with art! They have tons of art books in every category. Also if you are looking for a place to intern or volunteer I highly recommend this place!
It's cute to walk around before classes
Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art at the College of Charleston is an awesome art venue and gallery that has great displays that run for a limited time. It is always cool to walk through a new display and installation when it is ready and open for the first time. Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art never disappoints as they come through with some art that is worthwhile and challenges you. The Institute is well run and does a good job of bringing art and culture to Charleston.
Best contemporary art
Great place to catch Pokemon from the Green Energy Gym, especially on a hot day. Enter the gym, walk to the entrance and go inside the lobby and still be connected. Multi-phone charging station up the ramp.nnTip: There's great art exhibits too!!
