Worth the experience! Very informative and educational. We had 4 adults, 1 teen, 1 child and 1 baby in our party and all were attentive through the full tour. This was our teenager's favorite visit on our trip to Charleston. We purchased the book and a few reminders of the submarine. We also visited the graveside of the 3 crews in Magnolia Cemetery. My husband was an officer in a nuclear submarine so we likely appreciate naval history more than others which may skew this review.

Bruce was a great tour guide. Very informed. The Hunley is an amazing piece of history. The preservation effort is excellent.

Unfortunately the submarine is still submerged in water and our tour guide was super engaging. However she is a volunteer and should be commended tho relocated. The museum had a lot of information and I enjoyed the learning opportunity.

A must see when in the area. Our guide (Duane) was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our group's questions. Great displays explaining the process of recovery and restoration. Nice gift shop. Staff friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.
