Liquid Highway Car Wash

This was my first time using Liquid Highway. I wanted the exterior/interior wash but there was a 45 min wait for the interior cleaning. I opted to just get the Tidal Wave exterior wash. It was OK. However, there was no shine from the tire shine that was supposed to be included. While going through the wash it appeared that the tire shine was being applied (the sign lit up anyway) but alas my tires are dull as dirt. The rest of the car looked pretty good. I didn't get a hand dry either although that may have been my fault. There was no one near the drying station to stop me. Since I did not know it was supposed to be included I just drove off.

I went to this car wash last Sunday, 03/14/2021, at approximately 4:30pm. The sign in the driveway said open, so I proceeded to drive in at about 2mph. All of a sudden I had struck the chain, which was blocking the driveway. It was not visible from that close. The closed sign should have been there.nnI visited the manager, John, the next day. I noticed that the gasket on my hood had been torn and my right headlight had gotten scratched He said to come back the next day, and he would buff the headlight. I did and it helped some.nnThe next day I noticed that I had some light scratches on my right front fender. I went back and made an appointment with John for today, Sunday, 03/21/2021, to show him the scratches, and to ask him to buff them. He refused, which would have been okay if he had been polite, but he was extremely rude to me. He also had an aggressive attitude. He said I had hit the rope, which was actually a chain, and that he was not willing to do anything else. He said he watched the tape, and I had been there at 5:10pm, which wasn't true. He said that had come barreling through there I don't know how you can barrel through somewhere after making a tight right hand turn into the car wash and driving around the curve there. He was extremely unpleasant as well.nnNo one should be treating customers with this disrespect, and I thought that someone in management should be made aware of his behavior.

It's not cheap but it's a thorough wash with a lot of options, from your basic wash to a variety of waxes, rain-ex type finishes, those kind of ceramic coatings, etc. If you opt for the inside cleaning, you can expect something akin to having a housekeeping service visit your car's interior. So nice to get in smell the clean and drive away with a smile. Staff is very polite and helpful.

Lee and his crew are the best in the business! My 10-year-old car’s exterior was embarrassingly gross with oxidation and nasty spots all over it. I tried washing it by hand several times and I couldn’t even come close to making it look good. So I took it in to Liquid Highway in Mt. Pleasant one night and Lee personally came out and looked it over, told me what he could do, and gave me a quote. He took the time to explain the process to me and answer all my questions. Today I took it in for the Hand Wax Extreme he recommended, and Lee did not disappoint! My car exterior went from disgusting to looking brand new. I couldn’t believe it. He was on time, friendly and patient throughout my rescheduling, and treated my car like it was his own. It is very evident that Lee and his team take great pride in their work, and this is something they are passionate about. The customer service from Lee, his crew, and everyone at Liquid Highway was very refreshing. They were fantastic. Lee most certainly has my business going forward!
