One of the best Elementary schools in the county.
If your child is bright and can score well on tests they will be a perfect fit. If your child has learning disabilities, ADHD, or special needs. They will want your child in my opinion highly medicated or moved to another school. The IEP program is very disappointing. Your child will struggle here. This school is rated number one in the county because it is so small and they do not have what it takes to teach children with disabilities. The children are often pushed out and have to go to Clyde Elementary. If you have a school that is half the size of all the others and only have children that can score well... of course they will be number one. It's not fair to the other schools to let Riverbend be on the list. If you are thinking of moving to Haywood County I highly recommend not moving to this district if you have a child that struggles. They will be left behind.
