The Manteo Police Are a dedicated and caring department. Their Officers know the true meaning of “To Protect and Serve”.nThere is one particular Officer named Doug Moore . He is a K-9 Officer.nHis attention to public service creates a safe environment for Manteo Citizens.nI know this to be true in the way he Adopted my Brother James. Officer Moore made it a point on a daily basis to check on James to ensure that he was all right and safe.
