The Manteo Police Are a dedicated and caring department. Their Officers know the true meaning of “To Protect and Serve”.nThere is one particular Officer named Doug Moore . He is a K-9 Officer.nHis attention to public service creates a safe environment for Manteo Citizens.nI know this to be true in the way he Adopted my Brother James. Officer Moore made it a point on a daily basis to check on James to ensure that he was all right and safe. Even up to my Brother passing, Officer Moore was dedicated to my Brother.nI am positive that the entire Police force are just as dedicated.nThis is a true reflection on the Department Chief and Staff.nAs always,nStay safe out there “you Guys “nAnthony (Tony) Midgett SrnStafford Virginia
