Fair prices for the location and a locally owned business. Obviously it would be cheaper to order online but you are paying for the convenience of being able to pick up what you need for a project immediately in the middle of Boston. There’s a reason Amazon is so cheap. As for the staff (I have seen several complaints on here), I’ve always been nice to them, and in return they’ve always been helpful to me.
Hours constantly different for covid. Call before heading out I guess.nnPlease do more than print out a sign. Most businesses in the area have kept google updated on their hours.
Employee called me a douchbag under his breath! This hardware store is near my house and generally has everything I want, so I want to like it. However, their staff is consistently terrible. There are definitely a few quality employees but there are always two or three rude, dismissive people working there. I almost always have some bad experience, typically involving eye rolling. Yesterday topped the list. While showing me to an isle, a employee in his twenties with red hair a beard and a husky build called me a douchbag under his breath. Unreal.
Great place to get pretty much anything you need
Terrible service and very overpriced on most items. Order on amazon instead.
