All the staff in the automotive dept was very friendly

Absolutely horrible experience. First off they were scheduled to open at 7:00 am but didn’t. When they did open I was the second person in line to schedule service. The employee operating the computer to log me in had no clue what he was doing. Stating something about the manager hadn’t arrived yet. After about five minutes of him logging me in he informs me that I am all set. I then ask if I could go ahead and pay for the service that I had scheduled because I had plans for the rest of the day and didn’t know if I would be able to return before they closed. He informed me that I couldn’t. When I asked why he said because they had to check everything. So instead of me continuing on with my day as planned, I wait. One hour and thirty minutes later I return and guess what, my car still isn’t ready. They only thing I had scheduled was an oil change and tires rotated and balanced. So again I ask if I could just go ahead and pay so I could carry on with my day, again I was informed that I couldn’t. I then had no choice but to leave to carry on with my day because I was already an hour and a half late. Then guess what, as expected I wasn’t able to return before they closed. I had to have my wife drive thirty minutes from home, waste gas, and pay for it so I could get car on the way home that night. Will absolutely never use Pontotoc WalMart Auto Care again!! That’s hard for me to say since I have used them for years. Normally wouldn’t buy tires or anything from anywhere else, but not now.

They was a little slow but I did show up right at lunch time so with that being said overall they did a great job. Balanced my tires the right way no more vibration and changed the oil.

Fast and helpful staff. Don't try to sell you more than you know you need. Reasonable on price
