Room wasn't clean

Updated review April 4, 2021nnDefinitely not a good stay this time.nnThe room was worst and had a weird odor. The television would buffer and randomly freeze while watching. I called the front desk and the person that answered made it seem if I should know they had an Internet issue, which affected the television. Sounds like they cut the cord and don't have enough bandwidth to support the traffic. Good thing I wasn't depending on their Internet to connect to and get some work done.nnIf you want to sleep, don't get a room on the highway side. Noise all night long kept me up since I'm a light sleeper.nnWhen we went to get breakfast the next morning to only find it was served from 7AM-9AM instead of 7AM-10AM as we were told when checking in. I get it that it's a bag breakfast, but post the times since your staff are providing incorrect information.nnMasks are to be worn at all times. Yet, I saw a group of people coming through the hotel with their masks in their hands.nnThe sign says no smoking. Yet, people sit on the steps to smoke cigarettes right outside the side door that enters the stairwell near the elevator.nnI definitely didn't get what I paid for this time. I no longer recommend this hotel location. I'll try somewhere else next time I'm in the area. There should be a refund owed back to me since I didn't get what I paid for.nnOriginal review 2019nThe staff are warm and welcoming. They greet you with a smile when you walk through the door. The suites are a great whether traveling for business or pleasure. They have kitchen area in addition to the bedroom and work area with a desk. When you want to relax and watch television there's local and cable channels and you can also connect your Netflix, Hulu, etc. to keep up with your favorite movies and shows. There's an area to grill outside when weather permits. Arundel Mills Mall is within walking distance along with several restaurants and Live! Casino. The hotel has a shuttle that will take you within 5 miles of the hotel which includes BWI Airport and BWI Amtrak. There's a local post office within a couple of miles for your mailing and shipping needs. There's a supermarket nearby if you decide you want to cook in your suite.nnThe area is nice. I would recommend this hotel to travelers and business professionals alike.

Lord help these people when COVID is over. Cleaning staff is lazy and they do not service rooms when they are scheduled to. If you are a long term stay, you have to request and complain. If you request Wednesday or any other day, you have to call the front desk and complain that it was not done, and then it gets done on Thursday or the next day. Our room was scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays. For the 5th time in a row it has been serviced on Thursdays and Mondays after we had to call because it was NOT done. Front desk staff is very polite and they are very sorry, but the cleaning staff is lazy. They don’t even replace the consumables correctly. Things Like dish detergent soap, towels, dish towels and rags, and the list goes on. One time I even have proof they didn’t change the pillowcases.

So far so good...Towne Place Suites accommodations has been 10 out of 10...the rooms are clean ...theres a kitchen microwave...coffee maker...your own lounge...and lots of places to order food. There's a best buy and mall walking distance...however if you need a grocery..nYou ll need a car service or delivery. The front desk is extremely helpful... ill be here over 15 days so...I am expecting continuous high quality service.
