There is a very interesting video on youtube of several police officers from Fort Valley bullying and arresting a disabled man because they didn't like him taking photographs of tax payer funded buildings. I hope the victim files a lawsuit against the city.

Ft. Valley Police Department cannot be trusted. Remarkably negative police work. Unethical officers don't even understand the law they seek to enforce.

Never visit Fort Valley for any reason. It's not worth the risk of being stopped, handcuffed, and placed under arrest for taking a picture. Those nightmare stories you've heard about these kinds of places are true, at least in Fort Valley, Ga.. It's definitely worth your time to detour around it.

Avoid this city at all costs. They arrest photographers for merely taking photos in public and falsely charge them with disorderly conduct. Looks to me like corruption runs rampant from the mayor's office right down through the police department.
