If I could give Early County Museum and staff TEN stars, I would! I was fortunate enough to connect with Janie when searching for family history information today. She was everything customer service should be and more...friendly, helpful, extra-helpful, and a great listener. She also related her own personal experiences and family info about the area, which made the phone call that much more wonderful, interesting and informative! Janie provided me with additional avenues to research and other suggestions, in general. I was invited to call back and she told me she would be happy to do some additional digging if I'd email her family information. You just don't find assistance and care like that anymore. TEN STARS hands down!
There is a lot of local history and we enjoyed our visit. it was our first visit and we were given a tour of the facility. Cannot wait to see all the exhibits when the museum has been repaired from Hurricane Michael. Blakely should be very proud of their museum.
