Didn't exactly do what was needed

My insurance company brought them in when I had ice dams. They gave what turned out to be very low estimates for the work. When I contacted them to do the work they were not available for months. They gave a low bid to the insurance company and then were not interested in doing the work. I even contacted them months later to see what there response would be and they would not even get back to me. They seemed to be a little in bed with the insurance company.

I believe this is the office that services Nashua, but is located in North Chelmsford area. I called Servpro on a week when the owner and office manager were both away. No single person took responsibility for dealing with me. I got bounced around. I called on Sunday and Monday. They came out to get basic info for a ballpark estimate on Monday. Wednesday PM I got the quote and they said they couldn't start until next Monday. My place had flooded three floors and and walls, carpets, ceilings were soaked. They would have had me wait a full 7-day week before I would get work done. This can happen with them when you are not working with an insurance company that just pays up whatever we get charged. Because I asked for an estimate I got a one week delay. With insurance they would have probably started Monday morning and no wait. Good luck with that. It turns out their estimate was much, much more that the company that did rescue me: BurkeER in Manchester, NH. I suspect that ServPro has so much business coming in that they can manage to charge so much more and to drop a potential customer without thinking twice about it. Poorly managed as far as I was treated. Individually they put in some effort, but without good management I got a proposed one week delay in remediation. What were they thinking? I wonder what happens to wet stuff in one week? Maybe mold? Anyway BurkeER took care of everything in a jiffy, and in a professional way.nOnly one star for ServPro, though.
