I am a public educator that has a passion for teaching and those that meet student needs and skill sets on many levels. I want to share that my child attended StarChild with a 'spirited personality' and 'strong willed' nature each day in class.nnHer teacher was patient as she provided a safe environment for my child to express herself and be held to boundaries in the classroom for social growth.nnI am not pleased to say that my daughter would run up the slide when given specific instruction to adhere to safety in a downward motion.nnYou see my daughter was able to identify letter sounds and names while forming beginning sentences to read at an early age in her setting.nnHowever, she was unable to adapt to social cues and context. In fact, I received a call from Mr. Ron during my workday that described a situation in class where my daughter had 'shoved a pencil' up another student's nose and lodged the eraser in his nasal cavity.nnI was horrified that my daughter had created a possible situation of lifelong asthma and allergy attacks on this student.nnHis family immediately took him to urgent care and the eraser was extracted from the nasal cavity and this student is walking around today with typical breathing techniques in the nasal passage area.nnUltimately, the owners and employees at StarChild are genuine on every level and truly care for the student and their needs as each student transitions to their next level of education.nnThank you StarChild for taking a chance on a learner that was not typical and needed additional support and services to access general curriculum.nnSincerely,nMe

Best daycare Oviedo has to offer! Both our babies started there at three months old and stayed all the way until they began kindergarten. We were blessed with amazing teachers for both our kiddos. Our daughter is deaf and both the teachers and admin went above and beyond to accommodate her special needs. Star Child is family owned and operated. They have a clear dedication to providing a safe, high quality and fun learning environment for the kids. So grateful the Star Child family was a part of our lives for 7 years. They have left a special place in our hearts and lasting memories for our kiddos! ❤ufe0f

Starchild in Oviedo was amazing! My kids were so lucky to have this amazing basis for their educational adventures. I appreciated the academic focus and kind staff and teachers. My kids had so many cool field trips and assemblies. This school is a local gem! Also loved their summer program- amazing value and my kids were never bored!

My son started at StarChild when he was 5 months old. He is now in 3rd grade. He loved going there, loved his teachers and started Kindergarten with very strong reading, vocabulary and math skills for a Kindergartner, thanks to the great pre-school education he received at StarChild. He loves riding the bus from elementary school to StarChild after school and playing with friends he has known since infancy. The owners are a wonderful family and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and great at their jobs. Highly recommend!

Our daughter has been there for nearly 1.5 years and loves it. Great staff and teachers, nice building, classrooms, etc.
