This small but mighty museum was a great stop on our Boston visit. We were welcomed immediately and our questions were answered. The set up and displays are great. Things to look at, touch, play with, and listen to. Even as adults we enjoyed the children's room. We we're fortunate to have the place to ourselves. Great for all ages. Our college age kids enjoyed too. Grounds were inaccessible in March but I'm sure they are beautiful in summer.
Very good printed information and nice highlight talk before entering by Antoine. Enjoyed the local history.
My favorite museum. If you love American history, definitely come visit it.
A Historic house museum unlike any other. Become immersed in the roots of the American Revolution, in the social issues around slavery in the 1800s and more. Interactive exhibits and games for children. Brings history to life.
Beautiful house museum with excellent educational exhibits. The grounds feature colonial style flower and vegetable gardens.
