Remington Apartments

I did a contract for 3 months here, must say the staff are really good people but not with solving problems. Vents are not really vacuuming the air from the bathrooms, the heater take like 4 hrs to get to 74 degrees, and not going any higher then 76. The maintenance guys came few times for this reason they tried to make it better but nothing has changed. Definitely not going to renew my contract here.

I live here at the Remington and have never had any issues thus far. Management ( Kelly, Ella and Mel) have always been respectful and helpful. They are always quick to respond to anything we may need. They have a great team of maintenance. Addison and Jessie have always been easy to work with and have been very fast and efficient with my apartment needs. Thank you for making our living experience here pleasant.

I loved living at Remington apartments. The maintenance guy Addison is always helpful and fixing everything in a timely manner. He also makes sure when he comes he lets us know ahead of time becauae of the dogs. Best maintenance team I have ever had to work with.

I moved in 4 months ago, and now I am regretting my decision to move here...everything was fine at first, maintenance is very quick to respond. However, starting in late April/early May is when I noticed a serious spider problem. Not to mention pillbugs as well (however, I don’t mind those as much.) Recently it has gotten so bad that I honestly want to explore my options as far as my ability to move out in the middle of my lease. If that is not possible, I absolutely know that I will not be renewing my lease here. I have a pretty irrational fear of spiders and bugs in general, so before I signed my lease I asked Kelly if there were ever bug problems. She very confidently said no, and also said that they regularly have pest control come spray. I feel as if that was very misleading. So when I started seeing bugs, I asked Kelly if pest control could come spray. She said they were putting pest control on hold because of Covid-19 (?), and instead sent maintenance to spray with ortho home defense, which worked for maybe a couple days. Then about a month after my complaints, the professional pest control supposedly came to spray. However I am seeing more spiders now than ever, pretty much living in fear because of my severe phobia. I have lived in 2 apartment complexes since living in Utah and never saw a single insect.

Horrible. Apartments are infested with spiders (my daughter and I counted 28 live ones in one day inside our apartment!) You tell the front office, they send out "their guy" who only comes on Fridays and sprays with water. If you call again and tell them theres been no change in spider population, you get the same guy and have to wait until next Friday. The guy came out 3 times, sprayed, and finally I quit answering the door for him because there was never a change. Also, the back gate is open and/or broke most of the time, once it closed on my car, did $850 worth of damage, and after 5 calls to the office a out it, their corporate office tells me to file a claim with my insurance company and it would be taken care of. So I did. The claims rep called them for almost a month before being told they refuse to help me with repairs because I admitted to them that it was my fault. Like, HUH? I once got a letter on my door telling me to remove a broom from my patio or they would fine me in 24 hrs. even though the whole place is a dump. The security guard drives around in an old, rusty looking car with one headlight and I saw him twice in the 2 years I lived there. Our garbage disposal broke and they order a new one from their supplier which I had to wait 10 days for. Meanwhile, I'm washing dishes in my bathtub and paying $1500 a month. The places are gross, you have to pay $25 a month extra for covered parking, they will take people with bad credit and tell them theres no security deposit but BEWARE: when I moved out 7 months ago, I left the place spotless. I paid my prorated rent for that month. I JUST NOW got a letter from collections saying they want $2500.00 from me. The entire place isn't worth that much! Read other reviews that claim the same thing. 2 bikes, a scooter, and a wallet were stolen from me there and it's no wonder because all hours of the night, you will see shady looking people walking around in the parking lots. Theres lots more I went through while living there, but too long to list. Bottom line, look at other places and avoid this place. It's a slum and a money trap.
