The building, location, and owner I would give a solid 4 stars! With the property manager you have 1 star is too high. The building can use a few minor upgrades, mainly insulation. Our gas bill can show the lack or insulation. During a good storm the roof will lift slightly causing the little isolation to be blown onto the floor. The location is great, good area to be in. The owners seem nice, and easy to work with. The property manager is one of the main things that can make or break the loyalty, and happiness of your tenants, and so far a hand full of neighbors and I have not been impressed at all! There are certain jobs that get a bad reputation along with the people who work them, some of these people are amazing in there careers, and some just like to "stick it" to people. Jobs such as, ticket meters, tax auditor, HOA president, or you guessed it... Property manager. We feel like the PM has a "stick it" attitude. We have reserved nothing but lack of communication, lost of trust, laziness, nit picking, etc.. Here's a few examples... There have been occasions of power outages in the building, it was not resolved for a couple days. No updates from the PM. Snow removal was lacking. Days after it snowed someone would come throw salt out of there truck and plaster the dry lot/sidewalk so thick that it was slippery then any ice or snow. There was no resolvement from the PM. We ended up sweeping away the ice melt so we could get around. The dumpsters are full most of the time. To "resolve" the problem the PM she stuck a note on the dumpster saying somthing along the lines "residents only others will be reported to police" trash still gets full. We would move and find somewhere where they treat there tenants good, but were stuck in the contract. Not looking forward to when she checks us out and over charges us for every minor scratch and smuch she can find with her mignafine glass. Great place to set up shop if the Property Manager didnt have a "stick it" attitude
