Springfield Police Department

I hope no one Needs assistance after hours because there won’t be an answer. I called 5 times never got a person to answer. Glad to see my tax dollars hard at workud83dude44 absolutely ridiculous

So I come home from Work Monday night told my roommates they had to leave. Feeling threatened I went to my room locked the door and knowing their were firearms in the home I brought my dogs in the room and put on my bullet vest. The roommates which were home most the time have been training my pit. Needless to say i believe have been training him to be more guard dog and attack dog unbenownced to me. Anyway I saw a cop car pass from out my bedroom window and not feeling safe went to the front door to flag him down. When I opened the door about 6 Springfield police vehicles were at my front door guns drawn screaming freeze dont move. Well catching me off guard it sparked my dog that has never harmed a soul to run out towards them he got about 10 ft from the house.they opened fire and he ran away. Still firing apon him approximately 10-15 rounds in his direction hitting him 2 times. As I see my dog pass out of my line of site I hear a Yelp. I drop to my knees crying that my dog has been shot. Funny thing is I was told to get on the ground 2 times and threw my phone which I was on the phone with my mother at the time of the incident. They were overly aggressive and I believe that my roommates were the ones who called the police in the first place due to me kicking them out. The officers baked me and said that I was out of my home waving guns and threatening people. That a neighbor called due to fearing for the community. Well my video footage from security cameras shows that the officers were never in danger and that I came out and dropped to the ground without incident. They never requested for me to exit my home. Nor did I have any loaded weapons on or near my person. Why did you not come to my door or for that matter why did you entermy home after. Noone gave you permission ,this is a blatant violation of my rights and I am not happy nor was I read rights and than Baker acted for supposedly loosening my mind. Why was I out within 24 hrs of being bakered? And why was the roommates allowed in my home yet my wife who is on the lease with me was not and the police told here it was a crime scene? If I'm crazy than this police department is not only negligent for trying to kill my dog but should be held accountable for the vet bill plus my Bill's which will be about 1200 dollars for sleeping in an ice cold room and never being shown credentials upon requesting numerous times and many people. The police officers refused to show there badges and credentials and they did not even ask me the entire time what was going on. Now upon return to my home the next day 2 guns are missing along with these roommates that were, what I think trying to have me killed by cop. I'd like to see these officers held accountable along with the disappearing roommates.

Unfortunately these “cops” love to lie and use intimidation to fund their city. They have no interest in doing their job, they’re alright with harassing people. #850strong

If you have a criminal history, be ready to be harassed. I believe once you’ve done your time and you have paid your debt to society, that should be the end of people looking down their noses at you. This city/ghetto will never let you have a “second chance” so to speak!
