I was looking for a chimney sweep after moving into an older home. So I took a chance on Ranny's Chimney Sweep. Eugene called me right back. He was at my home the next day. Very professional and courteous. He did a great job cleaning a dirty chimney. He took the time to explain everything and gave me great advice and future projects with my hearth and how to safely start a fire and operate the flue properly. We also had a nice cup of coffee together. What a nice man and interesting character. I would recommend Eugene to my mother and my best friend. So glad we found him. Thanks Eugene. I hope the photo of the fire we started the same evening he cleaned out chimney posts to this review. If not we had a smoke free hot fire that day.
