I have been going to Express Laundry for years. It's very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. They offer free coffee and wifi while you wait for your items to finish. It's definitely the best laundry mat in Charlottesville.

This place is amazing. I had to wash everything I owned because of a mold issue in my apartment. I called ahead to ask about pricing and the woman I spoke with was super nice, clear, and helpful. When I arrived and told her I was the person who called and needed to wash everything I owned, she threw up her hands with joy and was thrilled to be helping me out. She helped me unload my bags and bags of linens from my car and then helped me EVERY step of the way, helping me reduce my cost, helping me decide how much stuff to put in each machine, calculating how much money to put on my laundry card, and showing me how to do everything. I haven’t had a customer service experience like this in years. Just incredible. Moreover, their Covid policies seem absolutely fantastic: a hand washing station outside, tons of signage with Covid policies, clearly marked spaces for clean and dirty carts. Overall it cost me $66 to wash and dry everything I own, which I consider to be a steal. THANK YOU EXPRESS!!
I couldn't get the washers at another laundermat to work because my laundry was wet (washing machine died), and there was literally nobody in the place, so I came here. The owner personally helped my get the job done and I am eternally grateful. Best laundermat ever. Thank you! ❤ufe0f❤ufe0f❤ufe0f
