Marriott's Maui Ocean Club - Molokai, Maui & Lanai Towers

A perfect space at our favorite location. 2 bedroom suite is big enough to give everyone the space they need, with the views and access we want. I love being able to have a (limited) kitchen instead of having to always eat out, and laundry so we don't have to bring so much with us. My 4 year old would stay in the pirate ship kids play area all day of I let her, and the rest of us love the pools. This is our second time staying here and we'll be back, I'm sure.nnDate of arrival - February 19, 2021

We have recently had the pleasure of having a couple of staycations at The MOC. I must say, with times being as stressful as they are during Covid, this was really the get away we needed to bond again as a family. I want to thank Diana at the front desk for really creating an experience I have never had before at this Marriott. Tom and Jonny at the pool were also so very helpful.nnWe understand it may not be easy to run a hotel during this time so we appreciate the staff being thorough and understanding of our needs. Although the restaurants are not open, it is great to see all the families utilizing the grills on property and the kitchen amenities.nnWe are already looking forward to our next stay!nnThank you!

I'm a Maui resident and this is the second time I've stayed at Marriott's Ocean Club. I absolutely loved my stay a couple years ago, but was unfortunately disappointed recently. My sister was coming to visit and I wanted her to have the same wonderful experience I'd had before. I splurged for the oceanfront villa - I had a mountain view room last time so I figured this would be amazing. Unfortunately they were painting the exterior. Our view had ropes hanging through the middle of it for the entire 4 night stay and painters passed up and down our window for the first two days. The smell of paint was so strong at first that we couldn't open the windows, and the deck was locked from the outside because paint was drying and plastic bags covered the railing so we couldn't sit out until day 2. I accepted this as part of the low reopening rates and just unfortunate timing, but it was hugely disappointing. It got worse though. The jets in the bathtub didn't work and we had to call someone to fix them. Once fixed, the jets turned on by themselves when no one was near the tub and couldn't be turned off. When we asked about this, we were told it's normal and happens in other rooms all the time. Then the toilet overflowed even though there was nothing blocking it. Someone came and fixed it while we were gone, but no one cleaned the sopping towels on the floor we'd used to clean it. When I asked about it, they said no one could enter the room to clean during our stay because of new health measures, and yet they'd entered to fix the bath and the toilet so it didn't make sense. I bagged the dirty towels and left them outside our door, but we were stuck with a dirty toilet water bathroom floor for the rest of the trip. There were beautiful and less expensive oceanfront vacation rentals at different hotels and on Airbnb available when I was looking. I booked Marriott because I wanted the best experience. It was a mistake and I wish I could redo this trip with my sister somewhere else.

Great pools for kids. Beautiful ocean and sunset views from room. Spacious rooms w kitchen and all home needs. Relaxing.

In the same boat as other recent reviewers have described. We are currently at the resort and almost EVERYTHING is closed (much more than described in the website). We are staying in a 1 bedroom without a kitchen and even the communal kitchen is closed which is NOT advertised nor mentioned ANYWHERE. Kids activities are non existent and even internet speed is extremely slow (4 Mb down!!). This is a colossal failure on Marriott's part. Never have I been this disappointed in a Marriott property. To think that I was considering adding more points to our timeshare ownership...
