Andaz Maui At Wailea Resort - a concept by Hyatt

Our stay was amazing. Beach access, all sorts of activities and great staff. Jason (finagon?) at the upper bar was full of jokes and had an amazing attitude, he honestly made our last day at the resort. Definitely look into the cool free activities that the resort offers, I found out about them the last day. Also the upper bar has happy hour from 3-5.nnI can’t wait to come back for our next vacation.nnOnly negative would be I would suggest getting better pillows :)

I’m writing this review without even seeing my room. I called before arriving and asked if we could check in early. The lady on the phone said “sure not a problem!!” We got here and it’s been two hours and still counting and the front desk staff won’t tell me when I can get into my room. I asked for an ETA and she said “unfortunately I can’t give you that.” Why the heck not!? Why did the lady on the phone tell me not a problem. They just don’t seem to care and don’t act like a 5 star hotel. I’ve checked in early almost everywhere I go and it’s never been a problem.

Third time staying here, first during a global pandemic. Had another amazing experience and have to give a big shout out to Patrick at the front desk, who was so helpful and accommodating. I really appreciate their commitment to safety and cleanliness during Covid-19. Everything here was top notch and exceeded expectations — will definitely be back in the future!

I'm no expert on Luaus as this only my third, but this one stands out as exceptional. Great food and entertainment. Very family friendly. The venue was insanely cool. The pictures on the website do not do this justice.

5 Stars. Stayed here Dec 12-18, 2020... COVID protocols in full force. Beyond expectations. The access to the beach is amazing, the beach is amazing, the beach crew that sets up your loungers is amazing. Resort fees well worth it considering whats included. Valet parking on point every single time they were needed. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner exceptional at every spot on the property. CLEAN, SAFE, UPSCALE, BEAUTIFUL. Do not hesitate to book your stay here.
