Maui Nui Luau

Memorable night here. Kids really enjoyed it up until sunset. We had to leave at that point because little small kids couldn't sit through this loud show. The guy performing invited everyone on honeymoon or anniversary on the stage. I had so much fun dancing hula with other guys.nI dropped a star because of the food. It did not meet our expectations. It was somehow surprising that Sheraton hotel serves food of this caliber.

Well because it’s winter. The pools are closed

Awesome food... the fish, the steak, even the bread, and salad.. We loved the smaller size of guests. The fire dancer was phenomenal. This is our third try of Luaus in Maui, and by far our favorite one. Just for the food alone, it will be hard to try a different one next time.

The food was delicious and the entertainment that we got to see was really good, unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, but this isn't why I'm giving two stars. I'm giving two stars because they didn't have out ponchos until it had already been raining for 20 minutes at least so by the time we got them we were cold and drenched. Then, they called the show off like 5 minutes after we put the ponchos on and the rain stopped no less than 5 minutes later on our way back to our room. We were definitely disappointed, especially because we paid $150/person for a not so once-in-a-lifetime experience. Oh, and we didn't get any sort of refund for them calling off the show so make sure you look at all your luau options before booking one.

Customer service was excellent (show had to move indoor due to rain forecast, so they called me to notify ahead of time), food and drinks were pretty good. The performance was composed of many different songs (stories), there were fast pace ones, and slow ones. In the end, to our favor, it wasn't raining anymore so we got to see fire dance outside of the ballroom, which was amazing!!
