Ka'anapali Beach Club by Diamond Resorts

Hotel is well preserved and the pool is wonderful, you’ll have a good time here. It’s in a perfect location, the food trucks are wonderful. Maui locals, are awesome. Beaches, top, as expected. I recommend avoiding any discount adventures by agreeing to their time share meetings. The time share salespeople are unprofessional, and obnoxious. One sales person called me a “negative Nancy” as I explained that the prices for their points are costing twice what I paid in cash for this trip. Next they keep switching salespeople for the two hours they have you hooked in a meeting, which results in you having to explain your rational human reasons against their tomfoolery four times in two hours. Each salesperson more onerous, and pushier than than the last. Whatever discount they offer for whale watching, zip lining, or submarine riding is not worth the asinine torture of listening to them try and finagle your hard earned cash, for made up points, that have no guarantees for availability. Just come to this hotel, enjoy Maui, and never agree to meet with a time share hawker. Had I never met their timeshare salespeople, would’ve given this hotel a 4.

The pink to this resort is a little much but if you're staying here you can see it from the road no problem. The room we had was an amazing spot you can see the ocean and the mountain. The room was a good size and clean we had no complaints the patio had 2 chairs and a beach chair. Lobby was big, open, and clean the pool was a good size pool with a water fall section that you can go to. Behind the water fall was the kids pool which has a slide that kids can go down to the pool in. Beach access was kinda weird but can still get to it. Over all it is a great resort with private parking and a great location.

We have a nice deluxe ocean view room but every time we open the doors to go out on the balcony to enjoy the beauty and fresh air our room fills with cigar smoke. A real significant disappointment. Smoking, especially cigars should not be allowed any where on the property. We paid a lot of money to stay shut up tight, in order to breathe, while in our room. This smoke seriously triggers my allergies. Local management has been less than impressive in addressing the issue. In the future, I will search out non smoking properties.

Over the past ten years, we have stayed in a dozen or more different condos in this area, from the Marriott to Napili Bay. To me, there are two categories. The upscale hotels, with bars and restaurants and lovely pool complexes. These are always expensive. Then there are the smaller scale condos. No bar, no food, simple basic pool with basic lounge chairs. These are generally inexpensive. Then there is the unicorn. Kaanapali Beach Club offers a great bar, excellent food, a fun pool area complete with slide, and a full one bedroom unit. It is just slightly more expensive than a studio at the smaller scale places, and considerably less expensive than the big hotels. We have stayed here twice. We’re headed back April 28 - May 12. WE CAN’T WAIT!

Beautiful place to relax. So open and quite and peaceful. I really enjoyed my stay here and can't wait to come back. Next time I'll remember to bring my seasoning as they have nothing in the kitchen and it's not always readily available on site
