Good comfy chairs, amazing silence, only thing is Staff can be a tiny bit rude but otherwise amazing!

During the pandemic this place is really leading the way with responsible service. The employees all wear gloves, eye covering, and masks that cover both their mouths and their noses. They are great at decreasing the number of things people touch. They use the drive-thru as a walk up. They disinfect it after each patron goes through. They keep the books in quarantine for 4 days before putting them back on the shelves. And they are kind and courteous. It's the safest place I could imagine being while being in public.

I went there, but mostly next door is basketball courts...nThe library is spacious

Hands down the best library on Maui. Friendly, helpful staff, lots of computers, work areas, comfy chairs, etc, etc. I live in Kahului and come over here when I need to use the library.

Nice library with some good kids programs. They also have a Hawaiian language section and some good books about the islands. Non residents can get a temporary card at a reasonable price. Kids section has some toys and puzzles to play with.
