A stunning look into the geological past. You've got to check it out for yourself. We expected a T Rex to come after us at any moment. ud83dude09 It's an easy trail, very family friendly but watch your step. And please leave everything as you found it.
A short 1 mile loop that's paved. Was easy for our 2 and 4 year old. Some informational signs to explain what we were looking at. Beautiful views.
Very peaceful and uncrowded NFS spot.
It was a very easy hike. Good for kids. The road into it was a bit bumpy.
Super easy trail for walking, some of it wheelchair accessible. The 9000 year old lava cast forest is a stunning vision of how adaptable nature truly is. The road in is a bit bumpy, so SUV is advised.
