A beautiful old home. So many details to take in! We wandered in early afternoon and had the place to ourselves to explore. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the home and it's history.

One of the most beautiful and historic buildings/properties in Georgetown. Such wonderful history and a dream house. They say it's haunted!! The house is well preserved and taken care of. It's one of the most beautiful homes and memorable experiences in the county.nIf you're around during the holidays, specifically the Christmas Market and tree lighting, they host a Christmas party there where there is cider, hot chocolate, readings, carols, tours and more.

This is a beautiful historic building in the throes of being renovated. Yet even as there is still much more to do here, the exquisite attention to the smallest detail everywhere makes a visit to this museum well worth it. The Hamill House was once a truly elegant piece of Georgetown history. As restoration continues, it is again becoming a precious gem in this wonderful old historic town.

Tour guide was fantastic and interesting. He was kind, knowledgeable, and you could tell he enjoyed spreading the history of this family and home. The house itself was beautifully (mostly) restored and well kept. Its currently under going some restoration on the building to repair damages but you're still able to view and walk through most everything.nnIt was a little disappointing that we couldn't take photographs inside the home, but the tour was well worth the visit either way.
