Ouray County Sheriff

I’m in Ouray twice a year. Spend a ton of money. Got a ticket coming off the million dollar highway using the trans to slow down. Yea I was going a little over 25mph but dang steep grades and momentum just hard to stay at that stupid low speed. I’m done ouray. Take my speed ticket money and have fun with your unethical speed trap. Smart move to take a couple hundred dollars out of a guy that spends thousands there and to loose yearly revenue.

Policemen came to my sons house across from us and scared our Pomeranian and he ran and still has not been found.....not happy with Ouray County!

Our group was reported to the ouray county police after a disturbance at a local restaurant. The restaurant owner and her staff were truly psychotic. The responding officers were professional, sympathetic, and seemed to have an understanding of our circumstance. They handled our situation professionally and we are extremely grateful for their intercedence.
