the police there seem to bleed blue blood and have reptile eyes, Im not sure if this is normal as the moment I pointed it out to them they just started screaming and pointing at me. Weird

April 12, 2018 UPDATE: 1 day after I posted this (yes, just a coincidence) I received a call from Sargeant Padilla at who promised to have TWO armed Deputy's in cars before and throughout the funeral. I noticed both of them as I pulled into the parking lot and they were still there when we left. ALTHOUGH NOTHING HAPPENED, I WAS ABLE TO MOURN MY SISTER IN PEACE AND I THANK SERGEANT PADILLA FOR ALL HIS HELP!!nApril 2, 2018 NO HELP! I'm having my sister's funeral on Friday. Her son, who has a felony record, is completely crazy, fully of hate and rage and CARRIES A CONCEALED WEAPON will be in attendance. I have been worried sick about everyone's safely so I met with Sheriff L. Ramirez and asked for police protection (one officer) to attend the funeral. I provided all the information and background needed. After not hearing back for a week ,I called again today only to find out she hadn't even looked into his record. Now 4 days before the funeral she is saying she still can't confirm an officer will be present, and if so, may have to leave at any time. I believe the San Mateo Sheriff's office is underestimating the situation and all I can do is pray more people won't die.

I understand every police department has good cops and bad cops, but I have not met one good one in the San Mateo county sheriff's department. They like to harass and be very disrespectful. They need public relations training.

Detective Sal Zuno is as best as they come. Polite, kind and logical. They don't make them like him anymore. Best sheriff's dept. Almost on par with the CHP.nnHad a stressful situation over the weekend and they handled it with much aplomb. Quick response no bs.

Neighbors thought a van was casing our home. The deputies were on top of it - arriving in a short time to check it out. I appreciate these guys.
