Powell Street Station

Took the Berryessa train. It was the first time I'd ridden on the BART since the pandemic. A new route. Payment is only through clipper cards which can now be purchased at ticket booths. No.more aer cards. And this very new train. It still squeals in the translation tunnel like the old trains.

Excellent directions and well thought out layouts.

Centrally located in the heart of Union Square, cheapest and often quickest way to get around San Francisco.

The system is nice to have but I wish it extended further into the Bay Area.nnThe poor review is because at the Powell station specifically, homeless people were harassing people trying to buy a ticket and the staff did nothing to stop it. The panhandler was sticking his arm in my face and swearing at me after I refused to give him any money. All in front of the staff hiding behind the information booth. Horrible experience.
