JR Putman Plumbing, Heating and Air

I had a new AC system put in a year ago by JR Putman. I had selected them after getting quotes from all the other local guys. Their salesman really understood the work, went the extra mile to ensure the quote was as complete as possible including crawling up in the attic and doing a full assessment of what was up there. However, the install didn't go quite as smoothly as there were some missing parts, and things had to get moved around. Then after the inspection, it turned out that the whole thing had to be changed. What was initially quoted as a one day job turned into a three day installation. That said, once they were done, the installation has worked completely as expected and we haven't had a single problem. In addition, Putman stands behind their installation and offer free 1-year inspections to ensure that everything is still functioning perfectly. The 1-year service was quick and thorough, and the serviceman respected my home and time.nnEDIT for new interactions: This past year we started hearing scratching in our ceiling and it was discovered that we had critters that had moved in. After investigation, we found that where the new conduit for the AC had been run, they hadn't completely sealed the opening. JR Putman acted quickly to fix the issue and came right out and at no cost patched the hole and upgraded that part of the installation (after rodent extraction). So, in my eyes, JR Putman has been a good (dare I say, great) faith company that stands behind their work.nnOn that note, I just had a new water softener and water heater installed by them and the work they did was exemplary with all clean lines, top of the line products and components, and really gave me the confidence that I received the best service I could hope for.

Always enjoy the service we receive from JR Putman! The service technicians are knowledgeable & a pleasure to deal with. Our most recent Technician was incredibly thorough and efficient. He noticed that our duct work was not performing at its optimal level so he corrected the issue and even helped me change our filter. Great service!

Mark from JR Putman came out to do the repairs we approved from the emergency service call the previous week. He was very nice, explained what he would be doing, and got everything repaired and running perfectly. Then he reminded us that the duct replacement team would arrive e next day to replace our very old and brittle ducts that had popped off some of our vents, which is today. The duct team came on time today, used drop clothes in and around everywhere they worked, and helped balance the flow of air Mark had set up the previous day by making sure each register had a nice tightly sealed duct sending lots of air. They cleaned up and were done- we felt very safe with them in our home, and the system is working better than ever now. I would recommend them highly.

Kyle was absolutely wonderful! This is the third Technician to come out to my property in the past month. No worries! The other two were from a different company. Not only did he fix the problem, he educated me on the parts of the A/C and how they work. He then made suggestions for a more efficient running system, that were easily understood and made perfect sense after his explanation of things. He was friendly and professional and didn't try to push a bunch of extra services. He simply made recommendations and gave me a quote. After my previous experiences, I was a bit leery of spending more money to have yet another tech out for nothing. I literally spent all morning the day he came out wondering if I was wasting more time and money and came close to canceling. I'm so glad I didn't, the education alone was worth it and my faith has been restored! This guy is great and really knows his stuff! Thank you Kyle!
