3 Peaks Resort & Beach Club

It’s unfortunate to write this because the location and rooms are pretty good. I’ve been staying consistently throughout this past ski season and what has become completely unacceptable is the fact that my rooms have often not been ready on time. On my most recent (and final) stay I attempted to check in 1.5 hours after the check in time and the room still wasn’t ready! Third time this has happened to me. They make it seem like you are being unreasonable for wanting to check in to your room at the designated time. They couldn’t say how long it would take as they were “still cleaning multiple rooms”. I was told by the front desk that I could cancel the booking without penalty. I literally listened to her call the manager to get it approved. In her defense, the receptionist that day was completely pleasant and helpful. Of course they didn’t follow through and charged me for the room. When I called to clarify, the receptionist was totally rude and unwilling to help. Will be contesting the charge and will not stay be staying again. I would absolutely not recommend staying here. There many other options close by.

Just a short walk to the Heavenly Gondola, this Resort is in the middle of all you'll need for your stay in South Lake Tahoe. Pool, hot tub, in-room hot tub, pool table, vending machines and also a coin laundry. The staff is amazing, whenever we needed something they always found a way to help us. Got the Deluxe King with pool view and we loved it. Parking is free.

Positives: Waking distance to Heavenly village and Gondola which we really liked. The bed was awesome! So soft and cozy! Glad they had pet friendly rooms so we could bring our cat-dog with us. TV had several of our favorite channels.nNegatives: Walls were very thin. We could hear our neighbors clear as day, but they were quiet in the evening and we were grateful of that. There was a dried buger on the wall next to the light switch and the headboard was extremely dusty, just wished they had wiped it down.nWe were there to ski... So the room served it's purpose. For the price, it was a pretty good deal. We would stay here again.

My FAVORITE place to stay in South Lake Tahoe!! Walking distance to Heavenly Gondola and also the beach of Lake Tahoe, front desk staff is always helpful and nice, and 3 Peaks makes it so easy to bring my dog along! The rooms are always clean, and Marlyn the general manager is incredibly responsive whenever I’ve had an issue arise. I won’t stay anywhere else! Highly recommend. Great hotel! Love it here.

We love this place!! Hot tub is amazing! The bed is so comfortable and the bedding is so soft and cozy. Real duvet and cover. The king suit does not have a microwave but it does have a small refrigerator. This is our favorite place to stay in Tahoe and is the best little getaway.
