An amazing community of learners, teachers, professional staff, and students. The professional staff is extremely knowledgeable in their fields, while focusing on the entire child: emotionally, physically, mentally. They make a conscientious effort to truly get to know each and every one of their students, thus allowing each student to thrive and succeed.nnI am a public school teacher. I have taught in four different school districts in the area. Though we live in a city with a high-ranking public school system, there are so many benefits of Hudson Montessori School.nnWe been at Hudson Montessori School for almost 5 years now. We have three children currently in the school, and there is no other school that I would rather send our fourth once she reaches preschool age.

Awesome school, words fall short to explain how amazing the staff and teachers are. It's been couple of months since my daughter started going to this school. She loves it there and is learning all these skills that are essential to life. Each child has a study plan and they focus on the individual growth and learning. I highly recommend this school to anyone that is interested in the Montessori style of teaching.

“One test of the correctness of educational procedure is the happiness of the child.” Maria MontessorinWhat? The test score isn’t a number, rank, or percentile on an isolated test that measures and predicts very little of the whole person my child is and is becoming?nCertainly, a “good school” is a fine path. But if you are looking for:n*An environment based on courtesy and grace that greets and supports learners where they are and helps them to reach goals—academic, emotional, spiritual, or physical— beyond that starting point;n*A place where a common respect, between children and adults, is expected and fostered;n*A professionalism on the part of staff represented by advanced degrees in many cases, and that extends into ongoing continuing education for all faculty (and offers learning opportunities to parents, too!);n*Exchanges of genuine warmth and concern from the highest level of administrative overview to the most minute detail in a seemingly mundane daily routine;n*An opportunity, in the midst of this busy world of expectation and rush, to see children persevere through inquiry, challenging tasks, building community, weighing the merit of autonomy and accountability, and all the while maintaining—wonder of wonders—the brilliance of childhood while learning the surpassing wisdom and power of being contributors to the world around them…nYou will find it at Hudson Montessori School. There is so much to say about what happens within and beyond those classroom walls. My best advice? Plan a visit. Ask questions. Observe the children.nAnd begin to understand the power of viewing children through the eyes of integrity, with a vision for shaping the world with positive change. Hudson Montessori has transformed the experience of our three children, ages 12, 11, and 9, by looking at them exactly this way.nIt’s impossible to put a value on the soul and mind-filling experiences occurring day in and day out at Hudson Montessori. But it is possible, and necessary, to put the keys to our children’s future in their hands.nIt’s never too late, and never too early, to see your child nurtured, challenged, and blooming in a community that shines with the light of possibility and ever-expands a child’s sphere of action and individual worth.

As a parent who has had children enrolled in Hudson Montessori School for over a decade, I can honestly say that they have developed into responsible, respectful, and independent adolescents. My family has found HMS to be a well rounded and engaging environment. The school teaches time management while also encouraging balance between freedom and responsibly in preparation for the future. With consistency in not only education but also exceptional staff, I have no hesitation in recommending this school to any and all families in need of a phenomenal learning environment.

HMS has been a nurturing and thoughtful learning community for our child. We really value the care the faculty and staff devote to the overall educational experience and growth of each child.
