To spare the major details I just want to say that it was a pleasant experience considering. They arrived fast and were very attentive. My 3 year old stood back just admiring them do their work. At the very end he finally got a chance to say hi to the two police officers and it just made his day! They even gave him a sticker that I think he'll cherish for quite some time. Little things like that.. it wasn't necessary for them to take those few moments but they did. It makes a difference in the community!
Got hit on my bicycle by a car. The driver fled. Police came right out and was extremely professional. I am grateful for the police. They put their lives on the line every day for us

I called the Traffic Division about cars illegally parked. Of course, nothing happen. But its Akron, expectations should be low.
When I lived in Akron, they came to my house multiple times saying they would ticket me if my bumper was over the sidewalk! So I moved but could not sell my house so it is a rental. Now that I am selling the home, my renter will not let me in to have it appraised. They were less than helpful (I get it is is a civil issue) but I find it interesting that they had tons of time to come out because of a bumper and could not even point me in the right direction to help me as a home seller. Both times today I spoke with Cherry. She was pretty rude the first time but was at least professional the second time.
