Was trying to get to my family in Florida the day before the hurricane. GPS said 79, but Patrol Trooper James Barlock pulled me over for 80 in 70mph. I explained my situation. Taxed anyway. Lesson learned, no more donations for HP from me. Two cars stranded within 7 miles of spot. No patrol help there. To protect and serve, really? I'm angrier than expressed here. Shameful.

My wife and I were involved in an accident, hitting a deer while traveling on I-270 westbound on October 17. Our car was disable and within minutes Officer Zaugg arrived on the scene, called for a tow truck and provided assistance and guidance to us. He stayed with us at the accident scene until the tow arrived to ensure that we would be safe and that the tow would arrive. He was professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to Officer Zaugg!
