Urbana Police Department

I purchased a house that was a rental, many people lived here that left no forwarding address. A city police officer came to my house and asked about 2 criminals. I don't know them or anyone but the person that I bought the house from. The officer acted like he did not believe me . Please do not ask me about previous tenets or come to my house, the neighborhood probably think that I committed a crime.

Falsely charged me with 2 felonies and 1 misdemeanor after an incident that I required a police response. (I had been locked in a construction site and set the alarm to be freed from the property). I had no idea my Foreman Joseph Angel Aragon (the one who never showed up to court) had hidden drugs within a secondary glovebox. (2004 Toyota Sienna)nI was cordial and cooperative. I submitted to a urine screen to prove I had never used the drugs found. Turns out that Champaign county doesn't follow federal department of human resources guidelines for drug testing. They found 1 metabolite of cocaine well below the threshold, less than a dollar bill holds, and they banged through a grand jury with a lie that the van, (plate number 636 TGT) was mine. Then I brought forth evidence from the Champaign county DMV and Kentucky DMV stating I have never owned or been registered to the vehicle.nThen i caught Officer Schimdt in a bold faced lie on stand. He said he found both of us inside the building which was a lie. I was waiting outside for the police and beat on the side entrance to gain Officer Schmidt's attention. (This section of the audio recording was mysteriously missing)nWith that being said, I ate the misdemeanor and got let free of the felonies.nSo, don't come to this city unless you want trouble.nThe police are backwoods retards.nWhile Judge Salvaggio was great, I believe he should have shown more contempt for the police and Prosecutor Telebi. Especially when Telebi stood on stand and told the jury it was my responsibility to prove my innocence when the constitution says it is the prosecution's responsibility to prove my guilt.
