Official-Ride inc. - Airport Transfers

I would have to give a double thumbs down to Miguel (owner of the company) and Asumar (the driver). I booked Miguel’s company to pick me up at the airport this last Friday and asked for a reliable car and driver. I called the driver from the airplane the second I landed to inform him I did land. I could not make out what he was saying but told him I would be in touch after I got my luggage. Now I call to tell him I have my luggage and he is asking me how many terminals jet blue has etc. I explained to him that I didn’t know the layout but exactly where I was (which he had previously). About 20 minutes later he showed up. I wheeled my bag to the trunk and let myself in the car. The driver then tried to be friendly but I was tired and aggravated. He was then driving home...the longest car ride ever because he was relying on his car navigation and not a traffic app. I was surprised (because his car had Uber stickers- you’d think they’d know the tips and tricks). Now just when I had enough he gets pulled over! He was absolutely in the wrong and was then arguing with the officer (who was being very nice). This driver then says it’s foggy he couldn’t see (then don’t drive!) and that he’s from Brooklyn so he doesn’t know the rules of the road here (more bs). I get home and inform Miguel about my experience and he’s not shocked and says, “sorry, I will have a meeting with him.” He charged me the full amount and I gave the 20 percent tip because I just wanted out. I told Miguel that this situation has lost him a customer. He says he will do his best to get me back. I wasn’t looking for a free ride but really...to charge the full amount after all this? Am I wrong??

cheap and unprofessional. would not recommend it to anyone
