New York City Police Department - 105th Precinct

ZERO STARS. I called for a hit and run and it’s been 5 hours waiting and no one has shown up. Called back three times and they are quick to rush you off the phone and tell you someone is on their way when really no one showed. Then the last time I called back the lady was agitated and asked if she should cancel them coming out smh. They are very unprofessional and inconsiderate. We have lives and are just as busy as they are, if they are even doing anything at all based on these reviews.nn*Just an update it is now 1:30am and the police got here at 1am, sat in their car for about 20minutes until I got back out of my car, to not even have any paperwork to give me saying they are out of paper. My husband and I waited for 7 hours in our car for the police to show, we called them at 6:15pm, this is unacceptable. Will be reporting them.

not helpful at all quick to get you off the phone even for quick questions

Been waiting for a response for 2hrs now. Was in an accident. I have asthma and my inhaler is low. This is unbelievable. I should've stated that I was on fire, maybe I would've gotten quicker assistance. This would never happen in long island!

Obviously you police officers don't know what constitutional law is, policy is not law.nAnd it must be really nice to park on the sidewalk where else is someone else going to walk the middle of the street.

I called for an officer to respond to my hit and run at 630pm. It’s now 1130 pm. And if you ask to speak to a supervisor or for an eta your faced with attitude and then get hung up on. God forbid if someone was hurt here.nnUpdate it’s 1245am. Called back change of shift they tell me happened at 1130 and still no one is on the way to me. 6 hrs later the apocalypse must be happening elsewhere why I can’t get someone to drive literally 5 mins from the precinct to stop for another 5 mins to take my information so I can continue with my life.
